Preparation for NERC Readiness Evaluations or Regional Audits

• Assist Functional Model entities preparing for NERC Readiness Evaluations and/or Regional Compliance Audits.
• Assess entities responses to NERC Readiness Evaluation pre-audit Questionnaire and critique preparations (Pre PDC on-site visit)
• On site (1st Visit) critique of prepared presentations, review of NERC Readiness pre-evaluation Questionnaire answers with entity staff, discuss and explain the preparation of a Readiness Plan and review Supporting documentation.
• On site (2nd visit) PDC staff will provide a final critique of presentations, lead a final review the revised NERC Readiness pre-audit Questionnaire answers with the entity Staff. PDC and entity staff will review and discuss the entity Readiness Plan, and complete final review of documentation that has been listed as evidence of compliance and evaluate their acceptability.

Regional Compliance Assessments

• PDC staff will assess entity compliance to NERC Reliability Standard Requirements and provide advice if entity is assessed to be non-compliant

Training

• PDC will assist in the development of Training Programs and Training Documentation for Entities involved in the operation and planning of Bulk Electrical Systems.

Temporary Support

• PDC staff has vast experience in the operation of Bulk Electrical Systems, rules, tools, training and staffing as well as several years of experience with the NERC Standards and compliance program, and will consider requests for any form of temporary support from NERC Functional Model Entities.
